Product Description
The full English name of APET is Amorphous Polyethylene Terephthalate, and its chemical name is non-crystalline Polyethylene Terephthalate. It is a kind of blister material. Usually, it is colorless and transparent, and transparent or opaque sheets of various colors can also be produced according to requirements. It has the advantages of low specific gravity, high strength, good folding resistance, high transparency, good gloss, etc. Moreover, it is non-toxic and odorless, meeting environmental protection requirements. The edge materials and waste products can be recycled, and it can eventually be degraded into water and carbon dioxide.

• Transparency: APET sheets have extremely high transparency. When the thickness D ≤ 0.5mm, the light transmittance exceeds 90%, and the appearance of the products is crystal clear.
• The low-temperature toughness (impact resistance and tear resistance) and heat resistance of APET are improved compared with those of ordinary PET. It has relatively high strength, can withstand a large external force without being easily broken, and can also maintain good toughness in a low-temperature environment without being easily brittle.
• APET sheets are extruded through a T-shaped die from PET. The molten PET is rapidly cooled and formed into sheets. The resin does not have time to crystallize and is in an amorphous state. Therefore, when it is used for thermoforming processing, there is no need for pre-drying treatment. The forming temperature is relatively low, the forming speed is fast, it can be quickly cooled and shaped, and the production efficiency is relatively high.
